Flummox and Friends

I just watched a pilot for the Flummox and Friends and I thought I would share the link for this pilot as it made me think of a lot of the children that I work with.  It looks like a fun way to target some of the social communication goals and I might just have to try using it in some of my social groups or individual speech language pathology sessions.  The link to the pilot is : http://www.flummoxandfriends.com/watch-the-show/  Have fun watching and maybe using at home to reinforce some goals.

Hello! I am one of the SLPs that consulted to Flummox and Friends and I’m so happy that you like the show and would like to use it in your work! I hope you found our downloadable Professional Guide on the website and an SLP in the Boston area has created his own treatment plan for running social thinking groups using the pilot episode so I thought I’d share that with you as well! https://docs.google.com/document/d/1xarW2hXsTJ6uW4uhNUKzB1RZdFAtU6ZthMc43o3TrYg/edit

    Take care!

      Thanks Jordan,

We use a lot of Michelle Garcia Winner’s concepts here and it looks like the pilot used some of the same language and would be a great compliment. Thanks so much for sharing. I am off to look at the treatment plan.
      Cheers,
      Janine
